Description:
The Charlie Jennison Quintet, consisting primarily of music educators from New Hampshire, performs locally at jazz clubs, schools, fairs, festivals, and private functions.
Band Members:
Charlie Jennison is a multi-instrumentalist and music educator who performs on saxophones, clarinet, flute, keyboards, and percussion. John Hunter, bassist, has enjoyed a busy freelance and teaching career for twenty-five years. Ken Clark, a 1989 graduate of the University of New Hampshire and member of their Summer Youth Music School staff, teaches general music in Plaistow, NH. Jim Butka, keyboardist, performs in several musical styles from church organist in Manchester to contemporary jazz and pop on a variety of instruments including synthesizer and digital piano. George A. Stevens Jr., fleuglehorn and trumpet, is employed as a software developer for Sandial Systems of Portsmouth, NH.
