Description:
The Crumbs of Insanity could be considered a psychadelic jam band. The band enjoys playing their own music as well as their own unique interpretations of songs from bands like the Grateful Dead, Phish, Santana, Bob Marley, and the Allman Brothers.
The Crumbs of Insanity have three self-produced albums: Spiral Stare (1989), Vegetable Dance (1991), and Nugget Man (1994). The Crumbs played regularly in Buffalo, Rochester, and Pennsylvania for 9 years (1985-1994). The band plays only one or two gigs a year.

“CRUMBSMAS 2003” is the Crumbs of Insanity’s 7th annual holiday reunion show. The festivities begin at 11:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2003, at Nietzsche’s, 248 Allen Street, Buffalo, NY. Admission is $5.00.
To continue in the spirit of warm-hearted gift-giving during this special time of year, the Crumbs will be giving a limited number of Crumbs of Insanity Concert T-Shirts and Compact Discs as Crumbsmas gifts to their beloved fans at the show! Get there early so that you can take some holiday Crumb cheer home with you.
Chris Vasi, Carl Bishop, and Jim Slagle are all coming into town to join Mark Chamberlin, Mark Freeland, Dave Rapp, and Kevin Kukoda in jamming out original Crumb tunes from their three self-produced albums – Spiral Stare, Vegetable Dance, and Nugget Man - along with your favorite Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, Beatles, Allman Brothers, Doors, Frank Zappa, and Jimi Hendrix classics.
The Crumbs of Insanity formed in 1985 and played the Western New York music circuit on a regular basis until 1994. Their resume includes playing at Buffalo’s Thursday in the Square in 1994, opening for The Tubes in Rochester, The Ramones and Living Color at UB’s Springfest, and headlining numerous SUNY Fredonia Fall and Sringfests.
