Description:
Keeping to traditional, no frills, blues guitar on his 56' Silvertone, Buddy plays with a sweat-drenched intensity that evokes a hint of Sumlin, pinch of Hutto and dash of Diddley with sprinkles of Muddy so sweet. Cover that with saucy lyrics, a nasty bar
Band Members:
Remaining committed to that hard life of the blues for some thirty years now, frontman Buddy Reed is a true blues veteran of unsung notoriety. Taking advice of his mentors, as evident throughout this new release, Buddy has accomplished that which he set out to do back in the early 70's. He found his own thing, developing a sound all his own.
Backing Reed on this album is his band 'th Rip It Ups: Brett Miller, keys; Al Hixon, drums; Dave brown, Fender bass & upright.
