The Dan Bishop Band is equally at home performing on Concert stages, rowdy Irish bars or trendy Hamptons Restaurants. Dan Hurney, Guitar/vocals the founder of the Dan Bishop Band has been a successful solo performer based on Eastern L.I. for many years. His vocal style been compared to such artists as James Taylor & Gordon Lightfoot, while adding his own proud Irish heritage to each performance. Glen Bishop, Keyboards/vocals is a Berklee Music School graduate, a veteran on the NYC piano lounge circuit & is a music educator. Michael French, Bass, vocals, harmonica has performed on (3) continents & adds the 3rd voice to the DBB's trademark harmony sound. The Dan Bishop Band performs throughout the East Coast at Festivals, Events, Restaurants and Private Functions. Combining their voices in spectacular versions of Acoustic based classics originated by such acts as America, the Eagles, Pure Prairie League & Jim Croce DBB creates both a high energy and relaxing sound perfect for a Festival act, Private Party or Event. The Dan Bishop Band is a lean & mean (3) pc act! the band does not require a large stage plot, is easy to setup & works under most any budget. Concert crowds, party revelers, intimate diners, DBB can do the job with style, class & an unmistakable sound!
