Description:
ZAZZ, an alternative jazz combo, puts its own spin on jazz standards, as well as performing original music. The group has tremendous flexibility, and can play a variety of styles and with various instrumentation, plus vocals. The group has been together over ten years and strives to keep the music fresh and exciting.
Band Members:
Deb Zelman-vocals and clarinet. A professional musician and educator. Ken O'Neil-tenor sax, flute and alto flute. Continually pushing the envelope. Gail Sonkin-pianist, composer and oboist. A professionally trained musician. Julian Webb-Bass and composer. A professionally trained musician. Greg Zaborniak-drums. Plays all different styles of music and brings a fresh approach to the heartbeat of the band.
