Description:
The Towers are a local Fort Collins Alternative Rock Trio drawing from many influences from rock and hard rock to jazz and country. The Towers features Andrew Albritton on Lead vocals and Guitar, Andrew Hendrickson on Bass and Backup Vocals and Willy Kelley tearing up the Drums.
Playing all original music, Andrew A. draws upon the music and lyrics he's had running around in his head for years. The addition of a rhythm section composed of Andrew H. and Willy K. made the music come alive. The Towers are a sound all their own, but still oh so familiar. They strive to write songs that are more than surface deep pop tunes, and draw on deeper topics, questions about life, love and sidewalks.
They were formed in the sweltering heat of mid-July in Andrew A.'s garage and practice through the bitter Colorado winter. They received noise complaints in their first practice session, so that stopped the garage door from being opened to cool off in the summer and they rock too hard to get cold in the winter.
