Description:
Farewell Davidson was first brought together by four friends when they were in High school that wanted to compete in their high school battle of the bands, and after winning that battle realized that they had something here, and signed up for another with Super Nova. After winning that one, went on to win the Ottawa city championships in another battle with them. The band then went on from there Playing everywhere they could. Playing up to four gigs a week at local pubs, music festivals, for TV, Radio. and a couple of times at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa just before the Ottawa Senators game for 19000 people. Writing their own material along the way, and developing a smooth indie rock, energized sound.========================================================================== ======= The Band's name was derived from two meanings one the name of the street where the band practices was Davidson Road which one day the name got suddenly changed by the municipality. And the other meaning was over a tragedy. A good friend of theirs that got killed by a drunk driver, and his father's name was David so it was saying farewell to David's Son
