Description:
A Continuous Now's latest offering Transient Soul Umbrella is the rare concept record that doesn't force the "concept" but rather invites the listener to dig deeper, to connect with whatever their own spiritual center may be and learn to appreciate life. A Continuous Now is a band that embraces life's gray area and doesn't fast track past the darker elements of self-searching. Their latest 11 songs were laid to track over the course of a single week in the Winter of 2011 with producer Erwin Musper (Scorpions, Metallica, Van Halen) to maintain emotional continuity and keep the organic quality of the lyrics and music intact.
Band Members:
Stemming from a rich friendship and history the beginnings of A Continuous Now (ACN) started with Jason Coulter and Tennis Mounts on the east side of Cincinnati. Longtime musical brethren, they honed their relationship and skill over a period of twelve plus years in bands like: Deeper Water and Gerald’s Rainbow. The culmination of their partnership has now blossomed into ACN. The addition of Chris Sarvak completed the circle. Tennis and Chris were friends within the Cincinnati music community and always talked about starting a band together. It took a year to get started but there was an instant rapport with all three of them, and the band hit the ground running in 2009. Thus, a supreme rock cinergy was formed and one that will not be denied.
