Description:
Averie is an Acoustic Americana Rock band. We have deep roots in southern rock, country, as well as modern hardcore rock. A very driving acoustic sound with powerful vocals and wailing guitar solos. Masters of covering some of your favorite staples as well very talented songwriters with well over 2 decades worth of writing experience makes Averie one of the most diverse bands on the circuit today.
Band Members:
Chris Bell is on lead vocals and some rhythm guitar. He has been playing music and singing since the age of 4. A long history of classical training paired with a huge vocal range and rooted in rock gives Averie a very distinct sound. Jeff Parker is a virtuoso on the guitar as well as pretty much any stringed instrument. Parker is a shredder at his core and has even brought some of that over to the acoustic side. With a very distinct playing style, Averie stands out in a crowd. Josh Smith is a human metronome. With a strong background in gospel music as well as southern rock. Smith is also an accomplished acoustic guitar player as well as a great song writer. Ray Rodgers is a very accomplished lyricist with a extensive library of songs. Also a very accomplished singer rooted deeply in the karaoke scene. Rodgers has been a DJ for the last 10-15 years and is very well known in the central and north Alabama areas. Ray brings a brand new dimension to the band only adding to the distinction of the band.
