Band Members:
Pat Vaznis - Lead Vocals & Guitars

Pat began his musical career early in life. With the assistance of his mother, who happened to be a music teacher, he learned piano, clarinet and flute until he found his true calling . . . . the Electric Guitar. With the help of his mother, father and older brother, Pat refined the skill and formed his first band at the age of 13. From there he continued his development and also began sharpening his vocal abilities as well as his ability to arrange, record and produce music. Through the years, with countless hours of practice and determination, Pat played with some great musicians. His original band “Blackout” performed many venues throughout New England, opening for national artists. While being shopped by several recording labels, the new era hit . . . . "Grunge". And this put Blackout on the shelf, only to disband a short while later. Years later, Pat formed a cover band in Phoenix, AZ, “Shut Up and Drive”. After eight years, playing numerous bars, huge events and Casinos, the band called it a day, and disbanded. Pat and Mike decided to continue on together. With the addition of Chris, they became “OverDrive”.

Chris Rapkin - Bass & Vocals

Starting out at the age of 11, Chris got a brand new $59.00 Short Scale Bass and a $39.00 amp from Sears. He was so excited and is quoted by his parents to this day as saying . . . .“I will never want another bass as long as I live.” Obviously, Chris upgraded over the years. After high school, Chris went to college and got degrees in Music and Business. He played in bands in Atlantic City, Philadelphia, and New York to pay for his college education. After doing studio work (RPM 1020 Studios) and playing gigs with groups like Cinderella in Somerdale, NJ, Chris decided to relocate to Phoenix, AZ in 1985. From there things got that much better. Chris started playing with the country group Southern Star. Doing corporate events, TV spots, playing arenas launched his career to even higher status. He went on to tour Canada and sold out 5 nights in a row at the Calgary Stampede. He has toured Europe and has played in almost every state in the US. Chris went on to be a “first call” session bassist in Phoenix, AZ and Orange County, CA. He later produced music for an endless list of artists and found himself doing movie soundtrack work for many independent films and major motion pictures. Chris plays Custom Made Signature Model Modulus 6 string basses exclusively and runs through SWR bass rigs. When not working, you can find him at his home in Oak Creek Canyon, which is 4 miles North of Sedona, AZ.

Mike Carnicom- Drums, Percussion & Vocals

Starting out playing percussion in the fifth grade, Mike as he is known to his friends and fans is a top pro. He lives by the following mantra: Structure, Focus, Discipline, and Flow. After years of intense training, studying, and instruction, Mike has emerged as one of the most solid drummers to ever play the kit. His impeccable timing, consistent tempo, desire for perfection and his never ending dedication made Mike the valuable musician he is today. Mike has done countless studio sessions and live performances throughout his career. Working with national artists such as Bang Tango and Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister, were a few highlights in his musical path. His influences are vast. His favorite rock drummer of all time-John Henry Bonham. Other influences: Peter Criss, Ian Paice, Alex Van Halen, Bill Bruford, Prarie Prince, Fish, Chad Smith, Vinnie Paul, Danny Carey & Gene Hoglan. An admitted gearhead, Mike has an equipment list that could fill a book!
