Description:
RAVAGER is a musically diverse and dynamic band from Arizona. Inspired by many genres, musicians, and the great people that support us. Founded by Dom Gauna and Keli'i Ah Leong in guitar class at Tempe High School some years back. Keli'i on guitar, Dom on bass, fellow classmates, Jesse Pesqueira and Thomas Bear joined in on guitar and drums. Developing our skills while trying to play in a band was difficult at first. Jesse and Dom switched instruments, Jesse on bass, Dom on guitar. We improved as a band, and decided to recruit Ian Nemeth on 3rd guitar. Thomas left the band, and Keli'i found new drummer Aaron Villaverde. We practiced and practiced, but something didn't connect the music. Ian Nemeth left the band and formed DEADLY NEGLECTION with Brock Butler. We then recruited singer, Austin Shirra. Austin's Judas Priest-like vocals gave the band a new sound. We completed four songs, "Children of Men", "Endlessly", "Throat Full of Rhetoric", and "Broken Wings". Tension began to grow within the band and Austin left. The four existing members, Dom, Keli'i, Jesse, and Aaron; wondered what the next step would be. RAVAGER decided to take a three month hiatus to improve individual musical skills. During those months Keli'i joined DARK AGES (later to be named DECEPTOR) and had more success towards his dreams. After the break, three members remained. We practiced as a three piece band and the result wasn't bad. We decided to look for a singer. After a few months, we decided us three, would become vocalists ourselves due to not finding a right singer. Dom debuted as the first vocalist, then Jesse. We have completed a number of songs along with re-naming the songs we had, and currently have one in the making with Aaron on vocals. With determination and inspiration we have played our first of many shows to come. We wish the best to all of our previous members. We are sure they all have become great, talented musicians and artists. RAVAGER is now ready to bring the metal and destruction to you! We can't wait to go out there and kick ass for all of the fans that crave good music! We hope you enjoy...
