Description:
A fresh new approach to alternative rock. A unique melodic sound fused with Rock, R&B, Pop, Metal and Soul. McDonough, GA based STEPP HEAVY is the next hottest thing in music.
Band Members:
Classically trained guitarist Jarrett Leopard (McDonough, GA), brings a syphonically powerful edge on strings that cannot be denied. He's backed by an uncompromising, in the pocket rhythm section, which features percussionist David Moreland (California) and Bobby Farrell (New Jersey) on bass, both taking from the influences of Funk, soulful Jazz, to the hardest of Metal. Each have been seasoned from some of ATL's hottest bands.
Topped off by rising singer/actor/dancer/songwriiter Apollo Levine (South Bend, IN). Apollo brings gritty church soul vocals with a new school twist. He has been seen in such movies as Tyler Perry's A Family That Preys and major stage plays like Ragtime, Dreamgirls, and Smokey's Joe's Cafe with Broadway in the works.
