Band Members:
John began playing professionally in 1987 as a soloist in coffee shops and on local college campuses. He performed for several years with San Diego's Black Cat Bone and along side international recording and touring artist Earl Thomas before forming Triple Shot in 2001. The North County Times describes John as "not only one of the very best blues guitarists in San Diego, [but] About UsPappas could hold his own in most settings that come to mind." John is also an independent guitar instructor and lists his influences as Jimmy Page, Alex Lifeson, David Gilmour, Tommy Castro, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Jeanine began her singing career as a wedding soloist for a large parish in Chicago, Illinois. She became very involved in the music program at the church singing in the choir, directing the children's bell choir, cantoring, and providing accompaniment on the piano at Sunday services. Having played piano all of her life, Jeanine is now working on carrying over some of her musical knowledge to the guitar.

In 1996, she began singing with a classic rock/dance band in Cincinnati, Ohio which carried her further into her career as a performer. Jeanine has functioned as the lead singer/front person for four rock/dance/wedding bands and multiple acoustic duo and trio acts. Jeanine enjoys the acoustic setting the most as it allows her the most flexibility and freedom to experiment with vocal styles.
