Description:
Embers From The Altar is a western VA based band. The band is on an indie label called Icon Records and is looking for a more established one. The new music they are making would best be described as Metal core, or death metal. The first cd they released in 2010 "Interior Of Your Anxiety" has a melodic metal quality. The band is working on new material and has also put out a digital single called The American Nightmare.
Band Members:
Before and after the release of the first album the band seperated from guitarist Brad, Former vocalist Meeks. Embers From The Altar has only two of the original band members left. Drummer James Knopps and bassist Carson Stokes. The newer members of the band are guitarist Jimmy Slusser and vocalist Senuacus Scorpious. With the new members the music has also has changed from what it was. The band has recently lost guitarist Justin. They are still playing shows and interviewing possible replacements.
