Description:
Jason Esthay (former HARD SHELL CASE lead guitarist) and Caleb Landry (former BOGGDOWN lead vocalist) formed OBSERVATION in the beginning of 2010... out of only an acoustic guitar and a couple of microphones. People have labeled the OBSERVATION sound as "Acoustic Metal" and "Acoustic Rock". The music is inspirational and original, with melodies and counter-melodies, and layers of vocal harmonies reminiscent of the Gregorian Chant era. Later, in April of 2010, the two-piece acoustic group added bass guitarist Zak Edd (former HARD SHELL CASE bassist), which deeply thickened the wall of sound. As a three-piece band, OBSERVATION continues to expand horizons and create new and original sounds with acoustic instruments.
