Description:
Up and coming musician Colleen Hart released her debut album entitled “The Rest of Me” on January 30th, 2010 at The Hideaway Café in St. Petersburg, Florida. Hart developed a passion for music and performing at a very young age. She explored many different artistic directions and has recently concentrated her efforts on releasing this album which features twelve original songs. Hart's debut album is an eclectic yet confluent compilation of richly metaphorical, intricately orchestrated pieces of audible art. The lyrical imagery is made alive by the galvanizing power of Hart's beautiful and unfettered voice. The professional instrumentation sets the poetry in motion with ingenuity and style. Each piece is distinctly its own while maintaining Hart's signature sound. From the jazzy, feel-good “A Lovely Thing to Waste” to the cathartic “Memory Torments,” The Rest of Me has an appeal that suits every taste.
