Band Members:
Every now and then, a group of musicians can meet, get together, play and the result is just so right. Case in point: MOJOMO! Since 2009, MOJOMO! has been making an impact on audiences in the PA, NJ and NY metro area. The release of their EP, Trippin’ for Biscuits, provides a gamut of styles from downright nasty funk to soul-dripping ballad to rocking out. The members come from years of playing with renowned bands and musicians as well as backing up top artists from the New York area. The music makes you get on your feet, makes you listen and makes you groove. And groove is at the heart of their music. MOJOMO!'s members have performed many festivals, fairs and clubs on the east coast. Every show provides an ever-growing list of fans and no two shows are alike. The band can just take songs to different dimensions.
MOJOMO! has vocalist/percussionist Ron Richardson, who has performed internationally as a vocalist with the Coasters. Guitarist Dave Anderson pushes out funky rhythms and amazing guitar licks. Ruben Ariola on drums has performed with many New York funk, rock and jazz and world music groups. Saxophonist/floutist Michael G. Williams, another New York City native, has toured world-wide with the Sun Ra Arkestra and other notables. Journeyman bassist Bill Coleman and keyboardist Rick Belza have worked with a number of groups on the east coast.
