Description:
Intadabluez is a blues band playing in the South Bend / Michiana area. We mostly perform blues covers but we have been stretching out our sound to be a little more "funk and party" and are starting to write harder-edged modern blues songs. We stick out a bit from the regular guitar bands because our founding member plays organ. We've all been around the block and want nothing more than to share our music with the crowd, get them dancing, and have fun while playing.
Band Members:
Don Gentner - guitar & vocals, much experience as a jazz musician but his voice is more suited to the blues. He writes very strong material and an inventive soloist. Chris Spychalski - great drummer, has played all around the Michiana scene with a large number of other bands. Steve Smith - a very funky bassist with a great sense of humor, played with Joe Walsh on tour and had a solo career as the guitarist known as Sarge. Jeff Sepeta - organ & piano, infamous for his roles in the underground phenomenons the Dharma Bums, Mr. E., and the Losers before playing with a half-dozen bands in Chicago including Carter Lee & the Hired Guns (rockabilly), the Disappointments (power pop), and the Statistics (indie rock).
