Description:
STIMPLE was formed originally by ROG (drums) and ALEX (guitar) after a furious night of drinking beer and shooting much shit. The band started off as a collaboration of eclectic styles, sounds and influences, which can still be heard in their songwriting. Electing to go a with a heavier and harder sound, the band has since gone through many line-up changes. DAVE (bass) to solidify the low-end, on vocals, BRANDON (screamer/vox) to bring an intensity to vocals, and EDDIE (guitar) to bring the fullness of 2 guitars and tear your face off; which completes this 5 piece band of punk/metal/hardcore misfits! Stimple released their first LP, Seeds of Hate, in late Nov. 2008 with 10 unique songs that proves Stimple is ready to bring their metal to the masses. Stimple has performed at some of San Antonio's premier heavy metal venues like The White Rabbit, The Scout Bar, Bonds 007 Rock Bar and all over Texas and the surrounding area with great bands like Spineshank, Betrayal, Suffokate, Murder Death Kill, Medea, Jaw, Thine Eyes Bleed, Year of Desolation, Ninetail, Theory of Disorder & many more. 2009 brings new ideas and music for Stimple; currently writing new material for their next album towards the end of the year, and preparing the nation for the Stimple assault!
Band Members:
Brandon provides crushing, aggressive vocals that cut through the music while jumping around and throwing his fist in the air. Alex on lead guitar playing heavy rhythms, phat solos and providing back up vocal support. Eddie on rhythm guitar tearing through the music with his articulated distortion, unique sound, and of course jumping about and making a fool of himself while providing back up vocals. Dave on bass brings the low end to Stimple to beef up the brutality and bring the "balls" to the stage. Rog on the drums providing rock solid beats, grooves, and endless entertainment as he blasts his way through the set.
