Description:
The band ALGERNON takes aspects of funk, punk, classic rock, and grunge to create a sound that is raw, original and breathtaking. Combined with their eccentric performance and improvisations Algernon reminds their audience and listeners that honest music still exists.
Band Members:
ALGERNON consists of four members, Phil, Ted, Roy, and Bondage Rob. Bondage Rob is the voice of Algernon and can also be found on guitar in several songs. Roy, the newest member, is the bassist and as of the Spring of 2009 been with the band for a month but nevertheless contributed greatly to their songs and sound. Ted is powerhouse drummer that fuels the bands with rhythm and solos that would bring tears to John Bonham. Phil, is the guitarist and co-founder of the band (with Ted) who occasionally takes vocals. His guitar playing is incomprehensible and would do Hendrix proud. (Especially when one considers he's been playing for 3 years and has never had a lesson.)
