Voodoo Prophet has appeared on the music scene and made a substantially heavy impact in a relatively short time. The band doesn't rely on gimmicks, ever changing trends, or formulas to deliver their sonically devastating style of music. Instead they have forged their own sound and style while drawing from a wide and varied range of influences. Guitar driven rock and roll never goes out of style, and Voodoo Prophet builds on that solid foundation with creative and catchy riffs, heavy grooves, and lyrics that get the masses chanting like a mob driven to the edge of anarchy.
A performance by Voodoo Prophet is a spectacle to be behold. The energy coming from the stage floods into the audience, engulfs the prepared and unprepared alike, and holds their attention until the band is finished with them. The music is hardcore and huge, yet they perform as if they're playing individually to each person in attendance, all the while having the time of their lives doing it. Playing shows with local bands, or sharing the stage with internationally touring acts like Chthonic, Prong, and Destroy, Destroy, Destroy, Voodoo Prophet brings an entertaining, heavy, and memorable performance to every stage they occupy.
With the concept that the band, crew, other musicians, and fans are all like family, they enjoy hanging out and getting to know everyone. Which is also the reason why they answer all of their messages over the web personally and make every possible effort to be sure a great time is had by all. Currently in pre-production for new songs to be released later in the year, Voodoo Prophet will continue to play wherever and whenever possible as they travel from their ideally located, and musically rich current home base, of Nashville, Tennessee.
Voodoo Prophet is the band for anyone that likes heavy guitar driven rock, intense vocals, and wants to hear something new that was spawned from the influence of both the current and former torch bearers of true metal music!!!!!
