Description:
We are currently a three piece. We play Ska, Reggae, Funk, Punk, and Rock. Our influences are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, blink-182, and Authority Zero! We've been jamming together for almost a year now.
Band Members:
Brian Gashler is our guitarist/vocalist, who moved from Ohio about two years ago. He's been playing guitar for about 5 years. Andrew Hunt is our drummer, who has only been playing for about a year, but has come along way in a short time. Last, is yours truly, Ladd Gustafson, I play bass. I originally played guitar but switched to bass when we couldn't find another guy who could play bass. I've been playing guitar for about 3 years and bass for 1.
We were all friends before actually deciding to form a band, but Andrew and I had planned on forming one before Brian got here. So when he got here and he could really shred and sing I bought and picked up a bass and Andrew bought a drum set and thus, Str8 from Scratch was formed.
