Description:
Bote is an acoustic folk-rock set with celtic influence, playing folk songs from all across the celtic nations and bringing catchy originals to the table as well. Inspired by greats like the Oysterband, Great Big Sea, the Pogues, Dubliners, and Cheiftains, Bote works to bring fans a sound blended with modern blues, roots, and rock.
Band Members:
Tim Keeley is the frontman and has played in different bands before like Slane. Before forming Bote Tim was active in teaching online students how to play different celtic instruments, namely the bodhran. Now he sings and plays front stage for Bote.
Eric Berthold is experienced in blues, rock, and country guitar, and teaches students thru schools and private lessons. Eric's style has helped Bote gain a certain aire of rock to it's folk music, and is the driving force and power behind the songs.
Dwayne Grassie is an old folk musician and now plays acoustic guitar and bass for Bote. While he mostly plays rhythm guitar, he is a strong hand in the business end of the band.
Freddy Smith is the bassist for Bote, and while he's the newest member he has played with other bands before and loves the music scene. His strong bass line is what keeps the band together and adds the needed glue between instruments.
