Description:
The anecdote of Trip the Light Fantastic is one of calculated debauchery, ruffianism, and hooliganish propensities. It is one of conviction and heartbreak, romance and austerity, revelation and melancholy, vitality and demise. So it goes . . . As is the case with many a euphonious ensemble on the cutting edge of modernism, Trip the Light Fantastic was birthed from three antiquated relics of what were loosely termed "bands". Merrily, they joined together; conquerors for the new age with a prayer in their hearts and a song on their lips. And abiding as habitual antagonists to ethical protocol, they thought it no bad conscience to cavort with desperadoes, outlaws, plunderers, culprits, litterers, hatchet men, draft dodgers, drunkards, bad seeds, nere-do-wells, sneerers, hustlers, rascals, and everyday evildoers to rally the components they would require to compose their frolicsome carols. Together with their dashing demeanors and devilish tendencies toward mirthful limericks, they would metamorphose into a delightfully mediocre means for troubled youth to spend their surplus time and their parent's income.
