Description:
Homie Erectus formed at the beginning of 2008 with the intention of developing awesome rock n roll party songs for people to move to. After practicing for several months Homie Erectus recorded a demo and began playing shows in Santa Barbara. There first two shows were in Isla Vista California which is a notorious college party town. There music was well received at there first two shows leaving the audience wanting more.
Band Members:
Joey Entoven is the lead singer and rhythm guitar player and has been playing music since an early age. Dave Esquer plays lead guitar with backing vocals and has also been playing at an early age. Rob Boileau plays bass and Matt Lopez plays drums and backing vocals. Both Rob (aka Jersey) and Matt have also been playing music since an early age. In high school lead guitarist Dave was in a hardcore band called, Suburban Crisis and Joey was in a band called Fenced. Matt was in a band called Fallen during his sophomore year in high school as well. As for Jersey little is known of him other than his stint in Layzee Spirmm out of New Jersey and his rad jazz funk band out of LA called the Comosabes. Eventually Matt joined Daves hardcore band and following the break up of Suburban Crisis came Joeys new band, Entoven. Entoven had its fair share in the sun playing many shows in Santa Barbara and the greater Los Angeles area and a couple members came and went. Dave and Joey played for a year or so did a tour and then the band split. Several months later Homie Erectus was formed by Joey and Dave who would recruit Matt as drummer and then Jersey as bass player.
