Description:
We are Southland Band, and we play clubs around the Birmingham and Tuscaloosa areas. We play classic rock, southern rock, and country. We have a wide variety of songs to include something for everyone. We are a 5 piece band including drums, bass, keyboards, electric guitar, and acoustic guitar.
Band Members:
Shawn Battles, acoustic and electric guitar, and lead vocals. I have been playing for 20 years. Jesse Boartfield, lead guitar, and lead vocals. Jesse is a singer song writer. He has a lot of soul in his music. Henry Neal, drums, and vocals. Henry manages the band. He has a lot of heart when it comes to playing music. Rick McDurmin, Bass, Rick is as rock solid as they come. He has been playing bass for over 40 years. He also sings great hamonies and lead vocals. Charles Pillitary, keyboard, Charles has also been in the music industy for around 40 years. He plays his heart out on the keys, and sings great back up vocals, and lead vocals.
