Description:
A.D.D was formed in June of 2004 by local Tulsa musicians, John Conrad and Jeremiah Kerby, after meeting at a local Pawn shop where Jeremiah worked. They wasted no time and immediately began writing and recording in an upstairs room in the Conrad family house, literally living off of Quick Trip hot dogs and Sunkist. Those recordings soon became their first EP release "Falling Upward". When sold they only brought about 5 dollars a piece, but mostly they were just given away to anyone that would listen to them! At that time their only gigs consisted of small open mic nights at bookstores and coffee shops, and you could always find them playing their music on picnic benches along Riverside Drive in their free time. With the help of their new manager, Sam gray, the two starving musicians landed an opportunity to record their first full album release "Out of the Driveway" under the production and engineering of Grammy winners Wayne Kirkpatrick(Change The World 1996), Gordon Kennedy(Change The World 1996), and Dan Marnien, in Nashville, TN. Shortly after they began landing acoustic gigs throughout the local bar districts of Tulsa, finding out that gigging in Tulsa playing original music was very difficult. Jeremiah and John kept pushing their new release and taking any opportunity they were given to perform their music. The recent release of their full length album, 'Out of the Driveway', provided many songs to perform for their audiences; however, new material was always being written and recorded. In late 2005 they independently recorded and released their second full length album "Still Here". With the help of modern technology and know-how, they were able to record all the instruments on the album themselves, appearing as though A.D.D was a large band. Anyone that had ever attended an A.D.D show would know that the band consisted of two guys and two acoustic guitars, and the guys needed a little help to bring the full sound to the stage. The duo set off to find musicians to help them recreate live what they had created in the studio. And so they did! Over the next few months they added Drums/vocals(Brian Borland), Cello(Amelia Ivory), and Violinist/pianist(Kent Dennis).Other past members include Dusty Robison(bass), Brian Osborne(drums),Justin(dirty)(bass), Casey Myering(drums). Over the next year and a half the band had the opportunity to open for bands such as Hanson, 30 Seconds to Mars, Teddy Gieger, and Shooter Jennings, and played regularly at bars such as Boston's, Santino's, The Hive, and many others. Not to mention they performed in many benefit concerts such as the Cancersucks (cancersucks.com), and the Katrina Relief concert. In an even greater attempt to raise their own bar the band wrote and recorded another full length album"Moodswings," released at the new year of 2008. Now with three full length albums under their belt the band continues to play shows and write new songs. Please look forward with A.D.D, as they hope to have several new projects underway in the months to come!
