The Earlywine Band has a unique and a energetic style of music. Their music comes from the heart, which they enjoy playing and it shows. When listening to Earlywine in person you will want to grab a partner and hit the dance floor. Earlywine leans toward the country side of music, but don't be fooled when they crank it up and get rowdy. Whether its traditional country, old or new Rock & Roll, or Fans looking for a good time, The Earlywine Band leaves no one disappointed, and everyone asking for more.The band consists of three members who each has his own singing and songwriting styles. Earlywine has released their first CD "Made In TX."


Band Members:
Ed Popp plays a variety of drums on stage like DW, Pearl, Mapex and he trigger sounds from a Roland and Yamaha sound module. He has been a drummer/ musician for 30 years and has been playing for the Earlywine Band since the beginning. Ed has a unique and smooth voice when singing his songs. He loves playing and listening to all types of music. His songs are "Things Are A Changing", "A Love To Last Forever", "I Want to Love Again", and "Then Came You". Fred Lockett plays a variety of guitars on stage like 1999 Fender Stratocaster Lead Guitar, rhythm guitar, and a Martin Acoustic guitar. He has played guitar with the Brenham High School band where he won the Louis Armstrong Jazz award. Fred also played the guitr for the Blinn College Jazz Ensemble where he studied music and composition. He has played with Landslide, Brown Sugar, Prime Tyme until he finally found a home with the Earlywine Band. Fred has a unique playing, singing and writing style which comes from the heart and he enjoys what he does. His songs are 'You're In My Dreams", "A Woman's Tears", "From The Bottom Of My Heart", "The Friend", and "Those Vows". Mark Schubert plays a Ibanex SR 1205-string Bass guitar and a Fender 5- string Jazz Bass guitar. He taught himself how to play when he was 15 years old and has been playing ever since. Mark has had the honor to open shows and play with new comers like Ronnie Milsap, Brad Paisley, Doug Supernaw, B.B. Watson, The Tommy Dorsie Band members, The Les Paul Trio members, and toured the southern United States with the Ski Bros. Band. He has done t.v. interviews with KPRC Channel 13 Houston, and KBTX channel 3 Bryan/ College Station. Mark has also done shows and events for KLOL radio in Houston, fairs and festivals around Texas. His songs are "I Still Have a Chance", and "Livin' On Bar Time".
