Description:
hideous is a two piece metal band that formed 3 years ago in cleawater,fl .the members are Josh Gardner (lead guitar/vocals) and Vincent Adams (drums) originally started as a four piece vince and josh found it better to move on by them selves to fully create the metal band they wanted.going on to create a sound of their own combining death metal, thrash and punk that has not only won over fans but other local bands as well.hideous puts on a great live performance not only loud but full of energy playing their own music and also covering Cannibal Corpse's (A Skull Full of Maggots). hideous is currently working on making their first full length demo and looking to be done it with before december.
Band Members:
Josh Gardner (lead guitar/Vocals) - josh is influenced by death metal like such bands as cannibal corpse, obituary, slayer, dying fetus and decide.josh decided to start doing vocals because the bands original singers vocals were not to his liking lacking the intensity that he felt the music needed.and josh being the the main lyricist he knew he could easily do the vocals him self after all he'd sung along to cannibal corpse and obituary for years prior to playing in a band.when learning to play guitar josh focused on metal there fore shaping his sound.going more for riffs then over the top leads he has made a style of his own. he currently play a LTD viper and bc rich flying V through a line 6 head and ibanez cabinet. Vincent Adams (drums)- vince is influenced by thrash, death metal and punk rock such bands as slayer, minor threat, cannibal corpse, bad brains,f-minus and the melvins.did'nt start playing drums till meeting josh after giving up trying to start a band playing guitar.growing up used buckets and coffee cans for drum sets because a real drum set was to loud for his neighbors.when first meeting josh vince never thought of starting band with him because their taste in music were so different.but after getting to know each other vince wanted to start a band.vincents first attempts at playing were'nt that good he quickly learned a real drum set is different then one made out buckets . but after alot of practise and a alot of broken sticks vince learned how to keep a beat and formed his style into one that is fast and intense .first playing a groove percussion he has moved onto what he plays now a PEARL EXPORT
