Description:
Double Shot is an acoustic duo that does original and cover music. The cover music derives from the influences of Reese Rushton and Chuck Harvill, the two members of the group. It includes everything from country to hip-hop with a large repertoire of southern rock and blues.
Band Members:
Reese has been in the music scene in Alabama for over 15 years and has played with a number of bands over the years, including Hashbrown which still plays several shows each year. He is a talented guitar player and vocalist with influences such as Hank Williams, The Beatles and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Reese is originally from Huntsville, AL and now lives in Birmingham. Chuck began playing music in the early 90's in Murfreesboro, TN at MTSU. He eventually helped to start Foggy Bottom, a successful jam band in TN in the late 90's. Since that time Chuck has moved to Birmingham and plays out 2-3 times per month. His influences include Steve Earle, Allman Brothers and Willie Nelson.
