Description:
The Wayne and Laurie Duo is a husband and wife musical team with high quality vocals, backed by the instrumentation of Keyboard and Conga/percussion instruments. The technology of professional sounding midi files provides a full accompaniment for their unique vocal harmonies, that satisfies both the dance crowd, and the discerning listener. In addition to the Pop/Rock variety, Wayne and Laurie can also provide an entire performance of Ballroom Style dance music!
Band Members:
Laurie is a vocalist with a range that allows her to cover artists like Barbara Streisand, Patsy Cline, Janis Joplin, and Aretha Franklin. She adds just the right flavor of percussion with her ability to play the Conga's and other percussion instruments with flawless timing.
Wayne has been playing piano/keyboard instruments and singing most of his life with an ability to perform a wide range of styles. This offers the couple the variety necessary to please a wide audience.
