First Strike

Band Members:
Vinny- Guitar/VOX is one of the front men for First Strike. He is very passionate about music, and even more passionate when delivering the music to audiences. He is more mellow on stage than Barry, but cannot stand still while playing. He runs and jumps, and does various things to get the audience into the music. In between songs, he mostly converses with the crowd, but his true passion is to make fun of Barry who, thank God, knows its all in fun. It is safe to say that Vinny is the most neurotic one in the band; as he often gets nervous before shows. In the studio he is no better. However, he loves writing music, and usually always has a new idea to pitch to the band. He enjoys spending time with is girlfriend more than anything, hanging out with friends, and absolutely loves to play music with the band.

Barry- Bass/vox, is the other front man for First Strike. The same can be said for Barry that was said about Vinny. He absolutely loves music. He spends hours a day networking the band on myspace, telling people about the band, and working on new material. He probably has the most energetic stage persona out of all the members, and they wouldn't have it any other way. Barry can be seen at all ends of the stage, interacting with Vinny or Pat, or venturing out into the crowd. Wherever he may be, he'll always be shredding sick bass lines to give a song the extra kick it needs, or just having a good time. Part of what makes him the musician that he is, is that he is just having a good time, but works just as hard to make great music. He enjoys hanging out with friends, making everyone around him laugh, and working on music whether it be by himself, at practices, or in the studio.

Pat- Drums/keys is the most chill member of First Strike. He often takes on the task of keeping the other two members calm and collected in situations of chaos. While Barry or Vinny might get nuts when a recording gets messed up, Pat just takes a deep breath, and offers the solutions. He has many different influences, which make his druming unique, and very energetic. His calm personality, keeps him in the zone when the band plays shows, and its spectacular playing. Pat has had a love for music since as long as he can remember, and specializes on many different instruments but its the drums that are his passion. He is a great friend, with great drive to get better day in and day out, which makes him the perfect fit for First Strike. He enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, and friends, and making music.

All three members are in college, and work extra hard to balance school, the band, and work. Somehow they manage to make it work, which is evidence in itself that the band is composed of three very dedicated individuals who love what they do, and they do it well. All three spend tons of hours, messaging promoters, adding friends on the bands myspace, setting up shows, learning music, writing music, and working together to make produce the magical sound that is First Strike. Rock oN!!!!
