Description:
It's All Been Done was formed in the bleak summer of 1985 when Johnny V and The Late Matt Humphrey had used their talents to craft what had potential to become some of the greatest doom metal songs ever written, but they were still in need of a rhythm section. Johnny V dropped D.r. Young a telegraph line after hearing that he was a world renowned bass player and he agreed to jam with them and brought in his long time partner in crime Todd?, the descendant of a long line of Appalachian spoon players. The four agreed that they were on to something and soon set out on a mission to rule rock the world.
The group started playing shows and within a few short years they had attained a rabid cult following and recorded and released their first E.P. Zeller Drive, which has been hailed in the industry as "almost listenable" and "decent". And around the time the E.P. was released they brought in legendary guitar virtuoso Mr. Markle to further improve their already perfect sound.
Tragedy soon struck, however, as D.r. Young was nearly fatally wounded in a paper cut incident and had to move to Athens, Greece for health reasons. A worthy replacement was soon found in Snake, a loose cannon bassist with nothing to lose. The new lineup returned to the studio to record a collection of Christmas standards titled Hit-or-Miss. This ground breaking album was the first musical recording ever to use "electric guitars". These "electric guitars" combine the musical style of the guitar with the dangerous and exciting magic of electricity to create a sound described as "what it would sound like if guitars used electricity".
