Description:
The Sunshine Destroyers - Songs of love, sunshine, bedlam & busted hearts littered across the driveway of the world. We like to believe that the sunlight gives all things life while holding the power to destroy us at will. Thus do we spin through the stars, walk the fine balance between destiny & the day-to-day burn. The Sunshine Destroyers are: Songwriter, Calandra Bidwell on lead vocals & electric guitar driving the band's sound. Sara Teasley on drums fuels the rhythm section, and last is Allison Johnson on the low end bass keeping time on anything the band spits out. Calandra has been playing bass since 1996 for bands such as Trouble Junction and The Wyandotte County Lowriders. Currently she also plays bass guitar with The Pink Socks. After leaving Trouble Junction in 2003, Calandra began playing acoustic guitar and writing her own music. After playing solo and refining her sound, she switched to electric guitar, added Sara & Allison in March of 2007 and the rock n' roll band was formed.
