Description:
A Dark In The Light is a blues influenced metal band whose goal is to make music that is as heavy and brutal as possible, without sacrificing the other elements that make music pleasant to listen to. Sick grooves, brutal breakdowns, and flowing melodies are all important to the band as it features distorted guitars and screaming, in addition to clean guitar, slide techniques, and clean singing. This band seeks to combine the elements of several styles of music that have had an influence on the individual members, and to pave their own way with an original sound.
Band Members:
Mike McCarthy and Seth Roberts are both graduates of Brandeis University who are attempting to pursue their dreams as musicians while living in the Boston area. After a year long stint pursuing music in Gainesville, Florida, Mike (guitar/vocals) and Seth (drums/vocals) decided to make a run at it closer to home. Rowan Elowe is a new addition to the band and a graduate of Wheaton College. Rowan is a great fit for the band and a talented bass and guitar player. All members of the band are 23 years old.

A Dark In The Light is back and ready to rampage through Boston, Providence, and parts of CT. After a nice learning experience in Gainesville, Florida, ADIL is going to leave its mark on Mass. Thanks to all who support our form of brutal metal mixed with blues and rock soul. Shows coming up soon, and new songs in the works. Please check back often to see whats poppin here in our camp.
