Justin Crippen & The Revival are an original band from the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City areas in the state of Iowa. We have our own sound and are experimental yet familiar enough to connect with any audience. We are an unique blend of acoustic groove, trippy funk, alt-rock, neo hip-hop, and aggressive blues rock; woven together with spiritual, political, and social messages of awareness and hope. We can make you dance, laugh, cry, think, smile, and drink all in the same night and you'll still want to introduce us to your mother when it is all said and done, and we would love to meet her. Band Members:
Justin Crippen- Singer, songwriter, acoustic guitar. The Words, The Soul & the passion of band. He is deeply rooted in the ancient tradition of spiritual awakenings and of moving the soul, oh and of course late night pizza and beer.
Don "Papa C" Crippen- Bass Guitar. Justin's Dad, And the world's biggest heart. Not to mention the thump ontop of the groove. Old School & Too Cool.
Chris "Cookie" Cook- Electric lead & rhythm. Was put on this earth to melt people faces and then chop their heads off, sometimes can be subdued w/beer.
Eric "E.G." Madison- Drums. Smiles the entire time he plays cuz he knows he's making ya feel good. Known in some circles as the greatest man alive.
