Description:
The band was formed in 2004 by a group of cousins and childhood friends. High-energy, alternative rock for the darker soul, Our Funeral Forgotten is Mike Sanchez (vocals/songwriter), Ryan Apodaca (lead guitar), Jeff Orcutt (bass), Cory Apodaca (bass/guitar) and Dakota Clark (drums) - five young musical alchemists whose philosopher's stone has conjured a new millennial hybrid now known as "Emo-Metal." Forged in synergy with bands like HIM, Daniel Lioneye, Black Sabbath, Pantera and KISS, and tempered by the spirit of artists like Johnny Cash, Elvis, and Buddy Holly. Our Funeral Forgotten begins its ascent with hard-driving beats, knife-edge guitars and no-holds-barred, heart-on-your-sleeve vocals. Venues include: Ogden Theater, Cervantes, Oriental Theater, Lake-Aid Fundraiser, Black Sheep, Cervantes, Quiotes, Brown Lantern, Lake Pointe, Rock City.
Other credits include: Emergenza Semi-Finalist. Bo Dog Records semi-finalist bootcamp, and International Singer Songwriter Award Quarter-Finalist. Currently recording at Electrokitty Studio in Seattle for first full release CD. I'm Gone, You're Dreaming Me (release date August 2007)
Our Funeral Forgotten is looking to tour Nationally & Internationally. Major or Indie label.
