ABOUT: SOUTHERN MISCHIEF
"We are on a Mission to bring back the glory days of Southern Rock & Roll. When Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, The Allman Brothers, etc... ruled the airwaves and made everyone fall in love with that wonderful Southern Rock groove! We love our fans, and our fans are truly our friends."
Band Members:
Craig Maxim (Lead Singer & Rhythm Guitar & Keyboard) is a long time musician, singer and songwriter, and has performed across America and in other countries, in venues holding up to 10,000 people. He is originally from Jacksonville, Florida, the same city as Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, 38 Special, Blackfoot, and where the Allman Brothers first formed. There's something in the water in Jacksonville, and Craig grew up drinking it! He now resides in Conyers, Georgia.
Daniel LeFever (Bass), is quickly becoming a veteran of the music biz, having performed in other projects. But now he is happy to call "Southern Mischief" home! Being a musician has always been his life long dream, and he pursues it with a vengeance. So, as he famously says when you meet him: "I Play Bass". He is also a HUGE pro wrestling fan, so if you want to give him free tickets, he'll love you forever! He lives in Covington, Georgia.
Gary Esslinger (Lead Guitar), comes from a long line of musicians. His father's band opened for the Kinks. When you hear those sweet riffs coming from his Fender Strat, or his Gibson SG, you just know he was born to make the guitar sing! He is a veteran of the music biz, having been with several bands as well as pursuing solo projects. He is a lead and rhythm guitarist as well as a singer and songwriter! Gary resides in Covington, Georgia.
Brian Griffin (Drummer) is a veteran of the Chattanooga music scene, having played in several successful projects there. Wanting to branch out into the Atlanta scene, Brian joined "Southern Mischief" and as they say, "The rest was history!" Brian's motto, courtesy of the Todd Rungren song is simply "I just want to bang on the drum all day!" He is an established Drummer and Percussionist extraordinaire, and looks like a baddass riding on his motorcycle through Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia where he lives!
