Description:
Crystal River Band is a 6 piece band made up of two guitars, Bass, Keyboards, Drums and A female vocalist. We play a verity of styles from the 50's 60's and 70's with just a touch of country. We are based out of Galax Virginia, the home of the largest Blue Grass Fiddlers convention. We play in southwestern Virginia as well as northwestern North Carolina. We specialize on the tunes you have loved but all but forgotten. Come check us out!!!
Band Members:
The Crystal River Band was established in 2001. The band mates sport some impressive resumes. There individual accomplishments include opening for such legends as Chuck Berry, Mary Wells, Sly and the Family Stone, Alabama, Molly Hatchet, Fats Domino, Bobby Bear and have played with such greats as Connie Smith, Del Reeves, George Hamilton IV, Charley Louvin, and Bill Anderson.
Now together they have opened for General Johnson and Chairman of the Board, The Embers and The Catalinas.The band has also been the back up band for David Muggeridge, the 2006 worlds best Elvis tribute.
