Description:
We play anything and everything from Fogerty to Bonnie Raitt, the Beatles, and BTO. Our mix is fun, lively and manages to please just about everybody at some point! We can rock with American Band, Free Ride, and Long, Cool Woman, hit some fun Keith Urban Somebody Like You, and even chill out a bit with Blue Bayou and Because You Love Me. We have a cool, unique mix of vocals with two very different female styles and a Don Henley/Billy Squier kind of male vocal in our lead singer. Our bass player sings and writes incredible songs, our other guitarist is a local actor and entertainer and he sings, too. Off the Record is ready to roll after finding a strong mix of band members.
Band Members:
Wade Jackson: bass player, singer/songwriter extraordinaire! This is one extremely talented guy who plays around the DFW area and has some pretty big name folks knocking on his door! Joel Lagrone: rhythm/acoustic guitar/vocals Joel performs all over Texas, including at Granbury Live, The Promise in Glen Rose, and some new locals theaters. He's a jack of all trades. Mark Lancaster: drums Mark's played with rock bands for years and he's powerful with the sticks and the rhythm. Dave McLeod: lead guitar/lead vocals Guitar Dave can do it ALL -- we're all afraid he'll take over our instruments. The guy can SING and shred and make you smile. Danielle Nations: lead vocalist Wait til you hear Danielle's voice! She's currently Miss Hunt County (so she sure knows the stage!)and competes in the Miss Texas Pageant and numerous others around the state. Her voice will knock your socks off. Shelley Small: keyboards/acoustic guitar Shelley rounds out the band with a sultry KT Tunstall meets the Indigo Girls kind of voice and rockin' keys. She's working on some more original songs to add to Wade's.
