Description:
We hear so much of how the Internet is shrinking the world around us. It is now a tool that helps bring people together. We are proof of that. We answered an ad to start a cover band from the ground up, and the rest is very recent history. What do you get when you mix a librarian, an accountant, an eye doctor, and a music teacher? You get a group of hard working musicians who strive to attain one major goal, have fun making music together. We know this is very apparent to us, and we hope our audiences will see the same passion that we approach this endeavor with.
Band Members:
Dawn Somerville: Vocals Dawn's soulful renditions of the songs she sings will definitely reach out and grab the listener. Danny Phillips: Lead Guitar, Vocals Danny's guitar playing has taken him from California all the way to Massachusetts over the past 20 plus years. He has served in many capacities playing folk, rock, blues and religious tunes in a number of diverse venues. Though you may have caught his acoustic stylings in the past, he's plugged in a and ready to rock in his native Detroit area. John Beigler: Drums John always had a fascination with music. He played the violin & cello in grade school. Most people thought he would transition to the guitar. But alas, it was the drums that intrigued him the most. He bought his first drum kit in 1996 and the rest is history. Influences are rock n roll from the 70', 80's, 90's and today. Dave Schultz: Bass, Vocals You hear that bass groove in the background? You know it is supplied by Dave Schultz, a certified (and sometimes certifiable) music teacher. Dave has played all over the country, in National Honors Bands, and for 2 Presidents. If you ask, he will honestly say he enjoys playing with this group the most.
Andy Berlet:Guitar After 5 years (and 2 CDs) of playing in the Boston music scene, Andy decided to move out to Michigan a few years ago. While most of his previous playing has been likened to heavy handed hard rock, he’s always enjoyed the stylings of classic rock. From blues to country to rock, Andy loves playing guitar and performing.
