Band Members:
Originally from Bethesda, Maryland the versatile Monrovia front man has literally performed all over the world. Scott’s performing career began early in grade school making music and acting videos for the county school system. Scott continued his performing career in the resort areas of coastal North Carolina performing acoustic shows while holding down the job as front man for the popular cover band “Hidden Fire”. Scott’s love of music eventually took him to the Far East where he toured extensively all over the country playing every genre of music imaginable. Upon his return to the states just before 2000 Scott landed in Utah to front the popular cover/original band “Passage”. Among the 100 shows a year with “Passage” was a date opening for Platinum selling artist “Ratt”. Scott has an amazing vocal range and a passion for performing that truly shines through live. Wes has dreamed of playing drums in a band since the day he first saw Paul McCartny and Wings play "Live and Let Die" on TV. Wes finally got his first drum kit at age 10 while living in West Valley City Utah and formed his first band at age 12. Since that time Wes has played with a half a dozen bands performing all styles of music from 50's & 60's to Punk and everything in between but is most well known as the drummer of 50's cover band "the Beginning" . Wes is known for his ability to lock in to a grove and provide a solid foundation for the song with creative in pocket fills. Monrovia's most recent addition is Ric Partida playing bass guitar. Ric is skilled musician who plays guitar, bass, piano and yes he sings too. With many years of experience under his belt Ric is very passionate about how the music sounds and has spent enormous amounts of time learning the technical aspects of what makes a great sound. Ric is very heavily influenced by the British invasion sound witch shows through in his original song writing.
