Description:
"Savor" is a Latin Rock / Latin Jazz group that has been performing at some of the better venues in Southern California over the last year. We also play "Classic Rock" & "Old school" cover music depending on the event We have a fantastic front man who not only sings and plays guitar but can move a crowd with his sax and flute solo’s, he does a great job feeling the crowd and since we can play everything from "Cumba de Sol" to "Road House Blues" we make sure everyone has a great time.. We play a variety of cover songs form groups like Santana, Malo, Mana, Poncho Sanchez, Al Green, Soda Stereo and others that make you want to dance. This group is headed to Mexico in the late summer of 2007 to release its first original CD. We are one of the most versatile and entertaining groups out there, with an array of lighting and special effects "Savor" is not just a band they are an experience.
Band Members:
The Band Savor was established in Rowland Heights CA. by percusionist Bobby Lamadrid and multi talented lead man Joe Castillo. Joe is consider to be one of the best front man in the business. Joe is not only the lead singer of the band but he also plays rythum / lead guitar, sax and flute and writes and arrangies all the bands original music. The Savor band is also blessed with the talents of bass guitar player and backup vocals Ari Villalta, also on keyboards one of the best all the way from Huntington Beach Greg Farnsworth. Greg also writes some of the bands originals. And of course no great band can be without the man who sets the beat (AC) Adolfo Castillo. Not only does AC keep the beat but he also does a great job backing up on vocals older brother and lead singer Joe.
The Savor band plays mostly Latin Rock but is very versitile depending on what the event calls for. We have also been known to play everything from classic rock to cumbia's. The band is available for all occusions such as Weddings, Private parties, Corprate functions, Senor's events Etc Etc. The Savor band is planning on releasing our first CD in Mexico in summer of 2007 we are counting on all are friends and fans to support are efforts if it ever makes to the U.S.
