Description:
Tragic Hero’s debut self-recorded album, Footprints in My Mind, was released by the independent label, Maverick the Dog Records. The album contains eleven songs that each have different meaning and purpose. "The Live and Breathe Kinda Romance" has been heard on FM radio stations and performed live on 93.7 BOB FM. The song stresses how emotional a romance can develop when two people in love feel the need to leave the civilized world and live by themselves. Other love ballads include "Broken Hearts and Broken Limbs" which gives the listener an adrenaline rush, "Sharp Pen in My Eye" which describes how frustrated a man can be towards his ex-girlfriend, and "Crossing the Atlantic (Hopeless Romantic)" which explains how a man can feel about finding his soul mate. "Difficult" and "Losing Our Minds" are songs about looking to God for answers. "The Wicked Town", "Tingle", "I Wished for a Weeping Wedding", and "The Concept of Being Alone" are all songs that focus on how a person’s negative thoughts can attempt to destroy his happiness.
Creech's second album, Universal Downer, contains twelve songs. This album is actually better than the first when it comes to production. As far as comparing the quality of the actual songs, Creech seems a lot more open with this collection. You could probably understand his perspective on life with this album a lot easier. Songs like "Belong" and "The Small Hand Points @ the Nine" are good examples.

Tragic Hero: Mike Creech- Vocals, Lyrics, Guitars, Bass
Mike knew music would soon enough become an important part of his life as he began playing guitar and bass at the age of thirteen. Creating catchy guitar riffs came natural to him. He began to add lyrics, discovering his natural songwriting ability. Now, several years have passed and he is currently known by the name, Tragic Hero.
Mike decided to be called Tragic Hero for one reason. He wanted the listeners to be able to identify with him on a more personal basis. "I want my music to help people through times that are difficult and add happiness to those that are joyful. I want people to know that others are out there like them."
