Description:
Paul Decker and Phil Kilmer have, between them, over 70 years of music making. They are multi-instrumentalists with outstanding vocal abilities, and both have a great sense of humor. Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, and vocals are top-notch. Playing songs spanning from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and beyond.
Band Members:
"Small Paul" Decker, well-known these days for his solo/duet gigs and his involvement with Small Paul & The REAL DEAL around the Michiana area, played full-time, as a working musician, from 1972-1991 in over 35 states, (playing, at various times, keyboard, guitar, trumpet and bass) and music ranging in style from Yes and King Crimson to Tower of Power and Jack Mac. (Not to mention many original projects over the years). Paul has opened for such acts as the Spencer Davis Group, Ted Nugent, Foghat and Chuck Berry (among others). He moved back to his hometown of Elkhart from Phoenix in 1991. "I love playing the music I grew up on, as it not only brings back a flood of fabulous memories, but also is timeless in lyric and melody. To have been part of that musical time period is priceless........I'm a lucky man!". Long-time fixture on the Midwest circuit, Phil Kilmer has "been there and done that" from rock bands (Manx got it all started) to area country music stand-outs Santa Fe Trail (along with drummer Greg Huffman), and Southwest. Phil has opened for such acts as Atlanta, John Michael Montgomery, and Bailey and the Boys. Phil has an amazing vocal range, and his ability to harmonize is second to none. Both Phil and Paul have been part of UNFINISHED BUSINESS (Michiana's premier 60's Vintage Rock band)for the past 3 years.
