Background:
Brad Mattingly and Scott Cook formed Two Pump Chump in January of 1999. Their stated goal was to bring the fun back into Rock & Roll. They saw this as important because they perceived the new rock scene as excessively serious, self-conscious and maybe even a little bit pretentious. They’ve gone quite a way towards achieving their goal, due in no small part to the success of their underground hit “Trailer Park Love” which is getting airplay locally on WLRS, WFPK and WTFX.
After several personnel changes, the addition of Dave Bennett on bass, Sean Saunders on drums and Travis Mudd on Lead 2nd Guitar brings the Two Pump Chump machine to its present state. The band as a unit is now complete. Thanks to their energetic live shows and constant promotion, Two Pump Chump is ready to tackle bigger cities and already have gigs lined up in Nashville and Cincinnati. They recently played high profile shows, including opening for 80s metal maniacs Quiet Riot, The Kentucky State Fair and the 2004 Mom’s Music Festival. Their first effort on CD titled Money Shot was recieved with great fanfare.
Their full length 2nd CD titled Deep In The Shag was released in Jun , 2006 and is ready to sell at local record stores including Ear-X-Tacy. please contact us for purchase.
2006 update - TPC is moving on to bigger and better shows with constant new fans, bookings and a new tour is in the works.
Do not miss these guys if you have a chance to see them LIVE, you're in for a real treat of great music and pure all out energy.
