Dawns Highway

Band Members:
The band actually constists of two men. Boyce Jordan on drums and (me)Richie Skaggs on lead vocals and guitar. The drummer is my nephew, hes been playin for a yr but to hear the drum licks you would think it has been far longer than that. We've jammed countless hrs for fun and to excite friends and whoever would listen until we recorded ourselves a few times and it sounded good enough to try to be more serious. Boyce is 17 and is really into classic rock and old school music. He would rather hear Cream than to hear 50 cent anyday. He's a basketball player in highschool and very outgoing kinda guy. He has a good work ethic so he's with it for sure he and I click so well because of the family factor of course. As for me (Richie) I'm 32 and have been playin guitar since I was 12. I started singin in public when I was 17 and did that off and on till my twenties. When I was 27 I was in Nasvhille and saw a few singers makin decent music on stage but it wasn't original. So I thought I'll just write my own stuff and make my own album and sell it myself! And did just that. I've included that website for the country part of this band. Thats before me and Boyce started this little band but I still throw songs from my album in our shows, I'll do a few with Boyce and then a few with just me and guitar. We'll rock it with some Hendrix then slide into some Doors or Ozzy. We're pretty versitile and like so many types of music that it's easy for us to blend in at any venue. We love it and we will entertain without fail. A few laughs included of course.
