Mindcure

Band Members:
Eddie Malone (vocals) formed Mindcure in 2000 with Joey McLarrin (lead guitar). Eddie brought to the band many years of experience with first playing drums and then learning that his true love was guitar. After over 10 years of playing guitar and struggling to find a good vocalist he stepped to the front of the stage to begin a new romance through singing with Mindcure. Although Joey came to the band very young and "green" he quickly picked up the pace and between the two formed the unique sound that Mindcure is known for. The music writing just seemed to flow between the two members. Eddie tried for years to get together with his childhood friend Mike Wells (drums) but the timing was just not right. In 2001 their time came. Mike began his drumming at a very young age playing in his childhood church. Mike knew from the first time he picked up a stick that he was going to play drums forever. Mike also brought many years of experience to the band. Mindcure than evolved into a powerhouse of unbelievable talent. Mike gave the band a whole new outlook on everything from writing music, to new, more energetic shows. One month before the band was scheduled to go into studio in 2004, they welcomed a new bass player, Todd Williams who again began his bass career as a very young child and brought years of experience to the band. He rose to the occasion and together Mindcure has recorded what will soon be an album on everyone’s lips. After Mindcure's most important learning and recording experience with the Ardent Studio in Memphis, TN it became very clear that the band would soon need to expand even more and add a second guitarist. Jacob Foster became their rhythm guitar player. Jacob has played guitar for around 5 years and is the youngest member of Mindcure which brings a fresh new sound and playful energy to the band.
