Description:
R.I.P.T. (Rest In Peace Tomorrow) formed in Lincoln, NE in the summer of 2004. R.I.P.T. has an aggressive hard rock sound, with influences from many forms of rock music. The band is best known and takes great pride for having their own sound, with each song distinctively different, all in the realms of rock and metal music. Vocals are in our own style, reminiscent of AC\DC's orignal singer Bon Scott, with guitars and music that just flat out rocks.
Band Members:
Jeff Johnson - Drums - Jeff is the heartbeat of the band, keeping rhythms .... long haired animal ...plays drums hard (like Animal from the muppets)... if you want to book a show, talk to this guy
Troy Thompson - Vocals - The vocals of the band, giving a unique sound in a style his own, but reminiscent of AC\DC's Bon Scott ... drinks odd 40 oz alcohol etc ...
Shawn Zimmerman - Guitar - Creative force, sharing rhythm and lead duties. Very diverse in playing and writing ... famous for his plumbers crack (although has no plumbing experience).
Jay Johnson - Adds power to the band, playing mainly rhythm but can rip out a lead with the best of them .... long haired hockey loving metal brother. Called Tree Man, cause he's tall dude !! and when a kid there was not tree he couldn't climb
Todd Zimmerman - Bass - The bass in your face, excellent timing, .. just the bass player, flips hair a lot
