Second Path

This atypical quartets’ music is a compilation of each individual member’s personal influences which vary from nu-metal to blues, and from punk to progressive. In addition to their musical versatility, Second Path also produces a highly intense live show which incorporates an aggressive, but fun interaction with the audience.

Although the band is relatively new, these young yet experienced musicians are dedicated to the band, and confident in the material they create. Second Pathhas played a decent amount of shows in the Chicago-land area and Western suburbs at venues such as the Riviera, Oasis 160, and 602 North etc. and strives to achieve many more accomplishments.

Band Members:
Dan McCloskey-22-guitar/vox..Youngest member of the band. Influences vary somewhat from the rest of the band but include Strung Out, NOFX, Metallica, 311, and Avenged Sevenfold. Anthony Lionello-24-lead guitar/vox...Studied music theory throughout high school, and took jazz at Triton College. Influences include Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Metallica, and System of a Down. Mike Petitti-23-bass-vox..Guitar player turned bassist. Studied music theory and played trumpet also all throughout high school. Influences include Pink Floyd, Victor Wooten, Tool, and Killswitch Engage.Jeff DeMaio-26-drums..Oldest and most experienced member of the band. Has been playing for over 16 years and also received professional training. Influences include Danny Carey, Neil Pert, Genesis, and Slipknot.
